Late rally puts Aussies in charge: 1st Test, Day 3 (Perth)

An aggressive unbeaten 39 from wicketkeeper Brad Haddin and a 66run stand for the 8th wicket with Jason Krejza 28 not out has put Australia back in control against South Africa after a day of fluctuating fortunes. Australia were 7228 an overall lead of 322 despite being reduced to 1627 at one stage. Earlier Mitchell Johnson finished with 861 the 9 best return by an Aussie as the Proteas were routed for 281.
