Vettori century rescues Kiwis: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Napier)
New Zealand were back in control with a 123 run lead after captain Daniel Vettori hit an unbeaten century as his side recovered from a shaky 145-5 to 346-6 at stumps.
Vettori (100 not out) and Brendon McCullum (89) had a 176 run partnership setting a sixth wicket partnership record for New Zealand against Pakistan.
