It was a close series with star performances by Vinoo Mankan (8-52 and 5-72), Nazir Mohammed (124), Fazal Mahmood (5-52 and 7-42), Vijay Hazare (146), Polly Umrigar (102), Roshan Shodhan (110) and Dattu Padkhar (5-72).
The 5 Test series ended 2-1 in India's favour.
