Merv: Selectors have seen something in Beer (Perth)
Former Australia selector Merv Hughes says he was "blown away" by Michael Beer's inclusion in the squad for the third test of The Ashes in Perth.
"Michael Beer's a huge surprise. I would have thought there would have been a couple of players in front of him, but I haven't seen games this year."says Merv.
