Merv & Flem: two fine test hat-tricks

Merv Hughes took a hat-trick against the West Indies (1988/89) and Damien Fleming took a hat-trick against Pakistan (1994). Both bowlers relive the moment.

Hughes effort was spread over 2 innings and also across three overs as well. He dimisssed Curtly Ambrose with the last ball of his 36th over in the West Indies' first innings, Hughes removed Patrick Patterson with the first ball of his next over to end the innings. Hughes came back in the second innings to dismiss Greenidge.

Fleming was making his Test debut in Rawalpindi when he removed Aamer Malik and Inzamam-ul-Haq with the last two balls of one over and then faced up to Saleem Malik with the first delivery of his next over. Malik was on 237 when Fleming found his edge to complete the hat trick.
