Malinga burst destroys Kenya: 2011 World Cup #14 (RPS)

Lasith "slinger" Malinga took 6-38, including his second world cup hat-trick - as Sri Lanka eased to a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Kenya in Group A.

Brothers Collins and David Obuya had helped Kenya to 128-5 until five wickets in 11 balls from Malinga dismissed the Kenyans for 142. Sri Lanka strolled to their target thanks largely to Tillakaratne Dilshan (44) and Upul Tharanga (67 not out).

Sri Lanka 146 for 1 (Tharanga 67*, Dilshan 44) beat Kenya 142 (C Obuya 52, D Obuya 51, Malinga 6-38) by nine wickets.
