Mathews and Perera shoot out India for 138: 2nd ODI (Hambantota)

Devastating bowling from Sri Lanka pair Thisara Perera and Angelo Mathews saw India dismissed for 138.A fighting 65 from opener Gautam Gambhir, who narrowly missed becoming the first Indian to carry his bat through an ODI innings.

Sri Lanka achieved the modest target with 181 balls to spare, with Upul Tharanga (59 not out) and Tillakaratne Dilshan (50) adding 119 for the opening wicket to help their team level the five-match series 1-1.

Sri Lanka 139 for 1 (Tharanga 59*, Dilshan 50) beat India 138 (Gambhir 65, Perera 3-19, Mathews 3-14) by nine wickets.
