IPL spot fixing: Rajasthan Royals risks suspension after owner admits betting

Delhi Police confirms that co-owner of IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, Raj Kundra, has admitted to betting on his team in the cricket tournament.

Kundra, a British national, is married to Indian film actress Shilpa Shetty who also appears to be dragged into the betting scandal as a co-owner.

If the IPL is to retain its credibility, the team owners within it simply cannot be placing bets on the outcomes of games within the league.
