Sloppy India let SL off the hook after Sanga ton: 2014 Asia Cup (Fatullah)

Kumar Sangakkara's ton snatched a win from sloppy India by 2 wickets in a tense finish littered with poor fielding and missed chances.

Sangakkara's 103 helped SL hold their nerves after being 215/7 to win the Asia Cup encounter by chasing down India's 264/9. Earlier, after being asked to bat, Shikhar Dhawan's 94 held the Indian innings together as the Lankan spinners Ajantha Mendis (4 for 60) and Sachithra Senanayake (3 for 41) applied the brakes after a breezy start.

Sri Lanka 265 for 8 (Sangakkara 103, K Perera 64, Jadeja 3-30) beat India 264 for 9 (Dhawan 94, Mendis 4-60, Senanayake 3-41) by two wickets.
