Match Fixing: Supreme Court names BCCI Chief amongst 13 suspects

In an explosive hearing, the Indian Supreme Court has named BCCI Chief N Srinivasan as 1 of 13 suspects in the spot-fixing probe that was conducted by Justice Mudgal.

Justice AK Patnaik dealt a further blow stating that "It seems that Mr Srinivasan has not taken the allegations seriously". The names of 12 prominent cricketers also figure in the report.

The court stressed that Srinivasan cannot perform any function within India's cricket Board under its interim order after the court had removed Srinivasan as BCCI president until the IPL case was properly investigated and the guilty booked.
