NZ dominate after Latham, Williamson stand: 1st Test, Day 3 (Dunedin)

Kane Williamson became the second New Zealand batsman to score 1,000 this year as the hosts built an imposing 308-run lead over Sri Lanka.

Williamson was 48 not out as he put on 92 with Tom Latham on 72 not out. Earlier, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 294.

New Zealand 431 (Guptill 156, Williamson 88, McCullum 75, Pradeep 4-112) and 171 for 1 (Latham 72*) lead Sri Lanka 294 (Karunaratne 84, Chandimal 83) by 308 runs.
