Root, Rashid crush India to win series: 3rd ODI (Leeds)
Joe Root hit his second successive hundred as England crushed India to take the series 2-1.
Opener Shikhar Dhawan made 44 and Virat Kohli smashed 71 but leg spinner Adil Rashid took 3-49 to restrict India to 256-8.
Root hit 100 not out and Eoin Morgan ended on 88 not out as the pair took England to victory with 33 balls to spare.
England 260 for 2 (Root 100*, Morgan 88*) beat India 256 for 8 (Kohli 71, Dhawan 44, Willey 3-40, Rashid 3-49) by eight wickets.
