Brilliant Kohli century rescues India: 1st Test, Day 2 (Edgbaston)

Skipper Virat Kohli scored a magnificient 149 to rescue India and end the day with honours even.

India were struggling at 50-3 and 100-5 after Sam Curran (4-74) pegged them back. Thanks to several dropped catches, Kohli dragged India back into the game as India posted 274.

England lost Alastair Cook to the day's final ball as they closed on 9-1 - a lead of 22.
