Bumrah five leaves India on cusp of win: 3rd Test, Day 4 (Trent Bridge)

Paceman Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets after ending a 169-run Jos Buttler-Ben Stokes stand leaving India one England dismissal away from victory.

After losing 4 wickets before lunch, Jos Buttler’s maiden Test century (106 – 176 b, 21x4) and his partnership with Ben Stokes (62 – 187b, 6x4) took the fight to the Indians.

England’s last wicket pair of Adil Rashid and James Anderson kept India waiting till the last day by adding 20 runs as England finished on 311/9, 209 runs behind.

England lead the 5 Test series 2-0.

India 329 & 352-7 dec ( Kohli 103, Pujara 72, Rashid 3-101) lead England 161 & 311-9 ( Buttler 106, Stokes 62, Bumrah 5-85).
