SL sniff win as Kumara triggers England collapse: 3rd Test, Day 3 (Oval)

Burly paceman Lahiru Kumara took 4-21 as England crumbled to be bowled out for 156 with Sri Lanka needing just 125 more runs for victory.

With England tottering at 82-7, Jamie Smith hit a spectacular 67 in just 50 balls to help rescue the hosts to 156.

Needing 219, the tourists ended the third day on 94-1 from only 15 overs, 125 runs short of a famous win with Pathum Nissanka unbeaten on 53.
