New Road, Worcester has been the home cricket ground of Worcestershire County Cricket Club since 1896. It is a very picturesque ground with Worcester Cathedral forming a magnificient backdrop.
New Road has staged Championship cricket since 1899, a run only halted by the severe summer flood of 2007.
In the past, it hosted the traditional tour opener in a visiting team's first class fixtures. On his previous visits to New Road, Sir Don Bradman scored 236 in 1930; 206 in 1934, 258 in 1938 and 107 in 1948.
The ground has hosted international One Day cricket during the 1983 and 1999 World Cups.
New Road has a ground capacity of 4900.
