1999: Lara dominates Australia with epic 153 not out (Barbados)

Chasing a daunting308 in the fourth innings, Brian Lara hit a magnificent 153 not out to help West Indies past the finish line and secure a famous win over Australia at Bridgetown in the 3rd Test.

West Indies beat Australia by one wicket in this thriller and took a lead of 2-1 in the series.

Wisden rates Lara's 153 not out as the second-best innings ever after Sir Donald Bradman's 270 against England in Melbourne in 1936–37.
