Finch breaks record with 156, Aussies finally win: 1st T20 (Rose Bowl)

Aaron Finch broke the record for the highest ever T20 score and also became the first Australian to score an international T20 century as Australia beat England by 39 runs.

Finch scored 156 from 63 balls to pass the previous mark of 123 set by New Zealand's Brendon McCullum against Bangladesh in 2012.

In reply, England produced 209-6 in their innings with Joe Root scoring an impressive 90.Australia 248 for 6 (Finch 156) beat England 209 for 6 (Root 90*) by 39 runs.
