Skipper Steve Smith reached three figures one ball before bad light and rain forced players from the field.

Australia ended the day 6-465, a 22-run first-innings lead. Earlier, Usman Khawaja’s failed to score a century after starting on 95 after an ugly hoic at Wahab Riaz sent a thick edge behind to Sarfraz.
