Gunaratne powers thrilling SL win: 1st T20 (MCG)

Chamara Kapugedera's last-ball boundary handed Sri Lanka a narrow five-wicket win over Australia.

Asela Gunaratne top-scored with 52 from 37 balls and Sri Lanka were sitting pretty at 152-3 before a late collapse left them with 6 run needed off the last over.

Earlier, skipper Aaron Finch top-scored with 43 as Australia posted 168-6. Sri Lanka 5 for 172 (Gunaratne 52, Munaweera 44) beat Australia 6 for 168 (Finch 43, Malinga 2-29) by five wickets.
