Stokes returns for Zimbabwe Test after injury layoff

Ben Stokes is fit and ready to go against Zimbabwe in the one-off test match at Trent Bridge.

Stokes insisted the Zimbabwe game was “our sole focus at the moment”. But he will not be alone in thinking ahead to the India series starting in 4 weeks.

Stokes revealed that he has been off alcohol all year as part of his rehab. Stokes tore his hamstring in the Hundred last year and then re-injured it during the Test tour of New Zealand.
