Evans stars as Zimbabwe bowls out Sri Lanka for 95: Tri T20 No 2 (Rawalpindi)

Brad Evans took 3 for 9 as Zimbabwe produced a dominant all-round performance to beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the second match of the 2025 Pakistan T20I Tri-Series.

Batting first, Zimbabwe put up 162 for 8, anchored by Brian Bennett’s 49 and Sikandar Raza’s 47.

In response, Sri Lanka collapsed under pressure and were bowled out for a mere 95, with only captain Dasun Shanaka (34) offering some resistance.

Zimbabwe’s bowlers were clinical — Brad Evans picked up 3 for 9, Richard Ngarava took 2, and all six bowlers used claimed wickets. The result marks a big statement from Zimbabwe and is their largest T20 victory margin over Sri Lanka.

Zimbabwe 162 for 8 (Bennett 49, Raza 47, Hasaranga 3-32) beat Sri Lanka 95 (Shanaka 34, Evans 3-9, Ngarava 2-15) by 67 runs.
