Rishad, openers seal Bangladesh victory over Zimbabwe: 2nd T20 (Bulawayo)

Openers Saif and Tanzid were the key as Bangladesh levelled the three-match T20I series with a convincing 34-run victory over Zimbabwe in the second match at Bulawayo.

Batting first, Bangladesh posted a competitive 186 for 5 from their 20 overs, with the top order laying a solid platform with Saif and Tanzid posting 120 for the first wicket in 14.4 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin provided a valuable late cameo to lift the total.

Zimbabwe never managed to keep pace with the required run rate and were bowled out for 152 in 19.4 overs. Rishad Hossain starred with the ball, taking 4 for 26, while Mahedi Hasan and Saifuddin chipped in with crucial wickets as Bangladesh squared the series at 1-1 and forced a winner-takes-all decider.

Bangladesh 186 for 5 (Saif 55, Tanzid 58, Ngarava 2-23) beat Zimbabwe 152 (Burl 29, Rishad 4-26, Mahedi 3-24) by 34 runs.
