Pakistan in rare overseas win as Sajid, Ali spin out Windies: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Trinidad)

Pakistan completed a commanding eight-wicket victory over West Indies on Day 4 at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, levelling the two-Test series 1–1.

West Indies, resuming on 103/6, were bowled out for just 117, leaving Pakistan a target of only 75. Sajid Khan and Ali Usman again proved the key figures with the ball as Pakistan’s spinners dismantled the West Indies batting.

Pakistan made light work of the target, reaching 77/2 in 23.3 overs to seal victory. Babar Azam finished unbeaten on 24 and Abdullah Shafique on 24, completing a match-winning performance for Pakistan after Shafique’s superb 160 in the first innings.

Pakistan’s bowling attack ultimately turned the match decisively in their favour after West Indies had briefly taken a first-innings lead. This was Pakistan's first overseas Test win in 3 years.

Pakistan 387 (Shafique 160*, Babar 88, Warrican 6-112) and 77 for 2 (Babar 24*, Shafique 24*) beat West Indies 344 (Greaves 73, Chase 70, Sajid 4-85) and 117 (Sajid 4-32, Usman 4-39) by eight wickets.
