South Africa win title after Hermann, Jansen sink Zimbabwe: Namibia T20 Final (Windhoek)

South Africa clinched the Namibia T20I Tri-Series title with a dominant 48-run victory over Zimbabwe in Windhoek.

Opting to bat first, the Proteas with an experimental side posted a formidable 205/5. The innings was anchored by Jordan Hermann’s career-best 53 off 29 balls, a fiery knock featuring eight boundaries and a six.

Solid contributions followed across the middle order—Connor Esterhuizen (32), Dewald Brevis (32), and Rubin Hermann (27)—before Duan Jansen provided a late flourish with an unbeaten 23 off 14 deliveries.

Zimbabwe’s chase faltered early under relentless pressure, tumbling to 24/4 and later 81/8. Brad Evans mounted a thrilling late counterattack, smashing an unbeaten 56 off 31 balls—including four sixes—and putting on a 52-run ninth-wicket stand with Kundai Matigimu (19). However, the damage was already done, and Zimbabwe were ultimately bowled out for 157 in 18 overs.

Bjorn Fortuin led the spin attack with a standout 3/24, supported by Jansen (3/38) and Eathan Bosch (2/22).

Jordan Hermann earned Player of the Match honors for his half-century, while Dewald Brevis was named Player of the Series.

South Africa 205 for 5 (J Hermann 53, Esterhuizen 32, Brevis 32, Evans 2-36) beat Zimbabwe 157 (Evans 56*, Fortuin 3-24, Jansen 3-38, Bosch 2-22) by 48 runs.
