India 2-0 after Samson storm crushes Afghanistan: 2nd T20 (Delhi)

India sealed the T20I series with a seven-wicket victory over Afghanistan in the 2nd T20I in New Delhi, chasing down Afghanistan’s 159/8 in just 14.5 overs.

Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran made 37 and Rashid Khan 28, but India’s bowlers kept the innings under control. Nitish Kumar Reddy was the standout bowler with 3/24, while Arshdeep Singh took 2/35.

India’s chase was driven by Sanju Samson, who responded to his quiet first match with a blistering 57 from 22 balls, including seven fours and four sixes.

Abhishek Sharma added 39 from 19, before Ishan Kishan finished unbeaten on 38. India reached 163/3 in 14.5 overs, taking an unassailable 2–0 lead with the third and final T20I to come.

India 163 for 3 (Samson 57, Abhishek 39, Kishan 38*, Rashid 3-36) beat Afghanistan 159 for 8 (Zadran 37, Reddy 3-24) by seven wickets.
