Ntini-led pace attack contains Aussies: 1st Test, Day 1 (Perth)

Australia started the series in a shocking fashion when they were reduced to 15-3 in the first six overs after a burst of extreme pace from Ntini and Steyn.

The home team recovered to finish the opening day on 341-9 as Michael Clarke Simon Katich and Andrew Symonds compiled fifties.
