No Pakistani nominees in top 2011 ICC Awards

English batsman Alastair Cook and Jonathon Trott are in the running for both the ICC Cricketer of the Year and the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year awards at a ceremony set for September 12 in London. Cook and Trott join Hashim Amla of South Africa and last year's ICC Cricketer of the Year Sachin Tendulkar of India on the shortlist for the top honour at the LG ICC Awards 2011. Amidst whispers and match fixing convictions for three of its top players, it's hardly a surprise that no Pakistanis are nominated for any of the key Awards. Only two Pakistan players, Azhar Ali and Wahab Riaz, are nominated in the Emerging Player of the Year category. Sept 2011
