Afridi sixes decides thrilling last wicket win over India: 2014 Asia Cup (Mirpur)

Shahid Afridi played a brilliant innings at the death to take Pakistan to a narrow one-wicket win over India in the Asia Cup.

Pakistan were on the brink of victory at 235 for six but suddenly lost three quick wickets to complicate things for themselves when Afridi took strike with his team needing nine off four deliveries off Ashwin - the all-rounder slammed two sixes to spark wild celebrations.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma (56) and Ambati Rayudu (58) hit half-centuries for India before Ravindra Jadeja smacked an unbeaten 52 from 49 balls to leave Pakistan with a testing target of 245 on a slow pitch.

Pakistan 249 for 9 (Hafeez 75, Shehzad 42, Afridi 34*, Aswin 3-44) beat India 245 for 8 (Rayudu 58, Rohit 56, Jadeja 52*, Ajmal 3-40) by one wicket.
