Angry Ishant clashes with Prasad, 4 players fined (SSC)

A fiery Ishant Sharma had a heated altercation with Dhammika Prasad. Ishant was batting when Prasad bowled a barrage of short-pitched deliveries which upset the Indian.

Ishant returned fire shortly afterwards with a hostile spell to get rid of Upul Tharanga and Chandimal.

Ishant Sharma and Dinesh Chandimal were given one-match suspensions by the ICC for bad behaviour while Dhammika Prasad and Lahiru Thirimanne were fined 50% of their match fees.
