Moeen Ali posted 68 from 170 balls on a challenging surface to take England to 258-7.

Debutant 18-year-old off-spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz took 5-64 in 33 overs as Moeen and Bairstow (52) rescued England with a 88 run stand.
