Wade century rescues Aussies, powers win: 1st ODI (Gabba)

Matt Wade broke his poor run of form with the bat to save Australia from one-day embarrassment in a 92-run win against Pakistan.

After being 78-5, Wade (100 not out) and Maxwell (60) put on a 82-run partnership off 88 balls that powered Australia's 268-9. James Faulkner (4-32) and Pat Cummins (3-33) bowled out the Pakistani's for 176.

Australia 9 for 268 (Wade 100*, Maxwell 60, Hasan Ali 3-65) beat Pakistan 176 (Faulkner 4-32, Cummins 3-33) by 92 runs.
