Quinton de Kock scored 59 runs and AB de Villiers struck 49 as South Africa beat Bangladesh by 20 runs.

After winning the toss, De Kock scored his runs off 44 balls and shared an 79-run partnership with AB de Villiers as South Africa piled up a total of 195 for four.

In reply, opening batsman Soumya Sarkar launched a ferocious assault at the start of the Bangladesh innings before falling to Phehlukwayo for 47.Bangladesh's chase faded to end at 175-9.

South Africa 195 for 4 (De Kock 59, De Villiers 49, Mehidy 2-31) beat Bangladesh 175 for 9 (Sarkar 47, Phehlukwayo 2-25) by 20 runs.
