Bangladesh rode to a stunning win over South Africa on the back of a massive partnership of 142 between Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan .

Bangladesh posted 330 for six which proved too much for South Africa. Mustafizur Rahman was the wrecker-in-chief as he picked up three wickets to halt the South African progress.

This upset by Bangladesh over the fancied South African's was the first upset in the 2019 World Cup.
