Marsh shines, Aussies grab No 1 ranking: 3rd T20 (Southampton)

Allrounder Mitchell Marsh delivered with the bat as Australia beat England in a close finish.

England had already won the series by taking victory in the first two matches but Marsh (39 not out in 36 balls) ensured Australia's win also delivered them the No.1 T20 ranking at England's expense.

Earlier, Jonny Bairstow made 55 from 44 balls and stand-in captain Moeen Ali and Joe Denly played cameos, but England posted an under par 145-6.

Australia 146 for 5 (Marsh 39*, Finch 39, Rashid 3-21) beat England 145 for 6 (Bairstow 55, Denly 29*, Zampa 2-34) by five wickets.
