Lewis, Motie inspire Windies win over England: 1st ODI (Antigua)

32 year old Evin Lewis smashed 96 as the West Indies crushed England by eight wickets in the first ODI in Antigua.

The West Indies raced to 81-0 in 15 overs when rain brought a lengthy delay. Set an adjusted target of 157, the home team cruised to victory with 55 balls to spare.

Earlier, England blooded four new ODI caps in Jordan Cox, Dan Mousley, Jamie Overton and John Turner. Spinner Motie took 4-41 as the visitors were bowled out for 209 in the 46th over.

West Indies 157 for 2 (Lewis 94) beat England 209 (Livingstone 48, Motie 4-41) by eight wickets (DLS).
