Samson century powers win over South Africa: 1st T20 (Durban)

Sanju Samson struck his second successive T20 century as India demolished South Africa by 61 runs at Kingsmead.

After opting to bat first, India posted 202 for the loss of eight wickets. Samson hit 107 in 50 balls which included seven fours and 10 sixes. He reached his hundred in just 47 balls.

In reply, Heinrich Klaasen (25) and David Miller (18) had a partnership of 42 but eventually the hosts were bowled out for 141 as the Indian spinners took charge. Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets each.

India 202 for 8 (Samson 107) beat South Africa 141 (Chakravarthy 3-25, Bishnoi 3-28) by 61 runs.
