Shaun Graf (born 19 May 1957 in Somerville, Victoria) was an Australian bowling all-rounder who represented Australia in 11 One Day Internationals between 1980 and 1981.
A right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Graf built his reputation through strong domestic performances for Victoria and later Western Australia. He emerged from Melbourne grade cricket with St Kilda and was known for his athletic fielding, disciplined seam bowling, and ability to contribute useful lower-order runs.
Graf’s first-class career spanned 55 matches, during which he scored 1,559 runs at an average of 25.14, including 10 half-centuries and a highest score of 85. With the ball, he claimed 124 wickets at an average of 29.72, with best innings figures of 6 for 89.
In List A cricket, he played 70 matches, scoring 646 runs and taking 79 wickets. His finest domestic period came after moving to Western Australia, where he played an important supporting role in their successful Sheffield Shield campaigns during the early 1980s.
At international level, Graf featured exclusively in ODI cricket for Australia, taking 7 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 33.85, with best figures of 2 for 14. Although his international career was brief, he was considered a capable seam-bowling all-round option during a transitional period for Australian cricket.
After retirement, Graf became highly influential off the field through his long administrative career with Cricket Victoria, where he worked extensively in talent development and cricket operations, helping shape one of Australia’s strongest state systems.
