Left arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann (9-149) in his return to the side and veteran off spinner Nathan Lyon (7-165) crushed the Sri Lankans by an innings and 242 runs, their largest ever defeat, on Day 4 at Galle.

Sri Lanka failed to counter Australia’s relentless spin attack as Lyon and Kuhnemann wrapped up the innings swiftly, sealing a dominant win.
