Milne, Seifert shine as NZ knock over India: 5th T20 (Hamilton)

Paceman Adam Milne bowled with fire as New Zealand finished the five-match T20I series on a high, defeating India by seven wickets after chasing down 192 to reach 195 for 3 in just 18 overs at Seddon Park.

Tim Seifert led the charge with a blistering 93, narrowly missing a century, while Glenn Phillips provided superb support with an unbeaten 65. Their outstanding partnership ensured a comfortable victory for the hosts.

India had earlier posted a competitive 191 for 8, powered by Ishan Kishan’s 61 and Shreyas Iyer’s 50. However, Adam Milne’s exceptional bowling performance of 4 for 19 restricted India’s momentum.

New Zealand’s emphatic chase secured a consolation victory in the final match, while India took the series 3–2 after winning the opening three T20Is.

New Zealand 195 for 3 (Seifert 93, Phillips 65*) beat India 191 for 8 (Kishan 61, Iyer 50, Milne 4-19) by seven wickets.
