Test debut: Sachin on facing Wasim & Waqar (1989)

Sachin Tendulkar made his test debut at 16 years in the 1st Test against Pakistan in 1989. He explains the pressures he faced when facing the feared duo of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

He made 15 in 24 balls in his first ever match as India scored 262 all out in response to Pakistan's first innings score of 409. This match was also Kapil Dev's 100th test match and it ended in a draw.
