Buttler just misses record, takes Eng to win: 3rd ODI (Trent Bridge)

Jos Buttler almost broke a record as he made an unbeaten 47 off just 16 balls to set-up England's 34-run win over New Zealand. Buttler needed a six off the last ball of England's innings to surpass Sanath Jayasuriya's 17-ball record for the fastest ODI fifty, set in 1996. The Kiwis took the series 2-1. England 287 for 6 (Bell 82, Morgan 49, Buttler 47*, McClenaghan 3-54) beat New Zealand 253 (Taylor 71, Tredwell 3-51). 3rd ODI (Trent Bridge), June 2013
