Kohli ton in vain as Kiwis strike first: 1st ODI (Napier)

India were all out for 268 in the 49th over despite Virat Kohli (123) posting his 18th ODI century as NZ won by 4 wickets.

Earlier, all-rounder Corey Anderson smashed three fours and four sixes in his 68 not out off just 40 balls after Kane Williamson (71) and Ross Taylor (55) had laid the groundwork for posting 292-7 .

New Zealand 292 for 7 (Williamson 71, Anderson 68*, Taylor 55, Shami 4-55) beat India 268 (Kohli 123, Dhoni 40, McClenaghan 4-68) by 24 runs.
