Ireland follow-on after Abbas strikes: Only Test, Day 3 (Dublin)

Paceman Mohamad Abbas took 4 wickets as Pakistan seized control of the Test match with a 116-run lead over newcomers Ireland.

Ireland were reduced to 7-4 and Abbas took 4-44 as Ireland were bowled out for 130.

After following-on, openers Ed Joyce (39) and William Porterfield (23) gave Ireland hope by moving to 64-0.

Ireland 130 (K O'Brien 40, Abbas 4-44, Shadab 3-31) and 64 for 0 (Joyce 39*, Porterfield 23*) trail Pakistan 310 for 9 dec (Ashraf 83, Shafiq 62, Shadab 55, Murtagh 4-45) by 116 runs.
