Shakib scripts crushing win, NZ 60 all out: 1st T20 (Dhaka)

Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan took 2/10 and then scored 25 as Bangladesh defeated New Zealand by seven wickets.

Only skipper Tom Latham (18) and Henry Nicholls (18) reached double figures as NZ were shot out for 60.

Bangladesh reached their target with 5 overs to spare to go 1-0 up in the series.

Bangladesh 62 for 3 (Shakib 25, Patel 1-7) beat New Zealand 60 (Latham 18, Nicholls 18, Mustafizur 3-13, Nasum 2-5, Saifuddin 2-7) by seven wickets.
