Noman 8-46 spins out England to level series: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Multan)

Spinner Noman Ali took his career best figures to spin a web around the English batting and secure a famous win 152 runs at Multan.

Left arm spinner Noman (8-46) and off spinner Sajid Khan – who claimed seven wickets in the first innings – shared all 20 England wickets in a terrific display of spin bowling.

Chasing a massive target of 297, England were bundled out for 144, with Noman and Sajid bowling unchanged throughout the innings.

This was Pakistan’s first Test win at home since 2021. The 3 Test series is now level 1-1.

Pakistan 366 (Ghulam 118, Ayub 77, Leach 4-114) and 221 (Salman 63, Bashir 4-66) beat England 291 (Duckett 114, Sajid 7-111) and 144 (Noman 8-46) by 152 runs.

Oct 2024.
