Varma smashes maiden ton, India go 2-1 up: 3rd T20 (Centurion)

Left hand batsman Tilak Varma smashed his maiden ODI hundred to power India to a narrow 11 run win against South Africa in the third T20I off at Centurion.

India posted a mammoth total of 219 for 6, thanks to Varma's 107. Varma and Abhishek Sharma (50 off 25) combined for a solid 107-run partnership.

In reply, Heinrich Klaasen (41) and Marco Jansen's 17-ball 54 kept the hosts alive till the last over but they fell short.

India 219 for 6 (Tilak 107, Abhishek 50, Simelane 2-34) beat South Africa 208 for 7 (Jansen 54, Arshdeep 3-37) by 11 runs.
