Skipper Shubman Gill continued his sublime form against England when he brought up his 7th Test century on Day 4 of the second Test at Edgbaston.

Chasing an improbable 608, England collapsed to 72-3 at stumps.

Gill, who ended up with 430 runs against England, became the first in 148 years of Test cricket to score a double century and a 150 in the same match.

England 407 and 72 for 3 (Duckett 25, Akash 2-36) need 536 more runs to beat India 587 and 427 for 6 dec (Gill 161, Jadeja 69, Pant 65, Tongue 2-93).
