Guptill smacks ton, steers Kiwis to win in last ball thriller: 2nd T20 (East London)

Martin Guptill smashed a century (101 not out) as New Zealand levelled the series in dramatic fashion by winning the second match by eight wickets.

Guptill hit the last ball of the match from Rory Kleinveldt for four as the Black Caps reached the target of 169 in a match reduced to 19 overs due to a floodlight failure. Earlier, Henry Davids hit 55 and captain Faf du Plessis made 63 as South Africa scored 165-5.

New Zealand 169 for 2 (Guptill 101*) beat South Africa 165 for 5 (Du Plessis 63, Davids 55) by eight wickets (D/L method).
