Chahal skittles SL for 87 in record win: 1st T20 (Cuttack)

A four wicket burst by leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal powered India to their biggest ever Twenty20 win, outplaying Sri Lanka by 93 runs.

Earlier, opener KL Rahul’s classy 61 and late big hitting from Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Manish Pandey powered India to a challenging 180 for three.

Chahal returned impressive figures of 4-23 to help dismiss Sri Lanka for 87, in 16 overs.

India 180 for 3 (Rahul 61, Dhoni 39*, Pandey 32*) beat Sri Lanka 87 (Chahal 4-23, Pandya 3-29) by 93 runs.
